About this coffee
La Cascada comes from Finca Quebraditas in the Huila region (Oporapa / Santa Rosa), grown at 1,600–1,850 metres above sea level. Huila is known for micro-lots with vibrant acidity, a clean cup and complex aromatics.
This lot uses a distinctive processing approach: controlled oxidation, fermentation, a rapid change of water temperature afterwards, and slow drying. Not complexity for its own sake — these steps are what make the cup cleaner, sweeter and more expressive.
The result is a coffee with remarkable clarity, heightened sweetness and a vivid flavour profile that shows the best of Huila's high-altitude terroir.
