This natural Colombian coffee from Quindío is sweet, rich, and full of character. In the cup, you'll find notes of raisins, milk chocolate, and rum, creating a profile that feels more like a dessert than a coffee.
Colombia Alto de Osos comes from the high-altitude region of Quindío, near the Cascadas del Río Verde nature reserve. This lot is produced from Caturra and Castillo varieties, grown in ideal conditions for developing a complex and expressive flavor profile.
After harvesting, the cherries undergo a natural processing method: dry fermentation, followed by resting in sealed bags and slow drying on raised beds or patios. This process enhances the coffee's signature sweetness, fruity depth, and aromatic complexity.
The cup is juicy and vibrant, with bright acidity, a medium body, and a long, sweet finish. Notes of raisins, milk chocolate, and subtle hints of rum create a harmonious balance between brightness and warmth.
