A rare microlot created within the Kindeng Mill from cherries handpicked by over 1,500 smallholder farmers. Here, coffee trees grow at elevations of 1,520–1,770 meters, on sandy-clay soils under the shade of tropical clouds.
In Papua New Guinea, natural processing is hardly ever practiced — which is precisely what makes this lot so special. To preserve the richness of its aroma, the cherries are dried for 3–4 weeks on raised beds, with constant turning. This results in a concentrated, expressive flavor.
