This lot comes from Costa Rica, where at an altitude of 1,700 meters farmer Danilo Salazar cultivates Caturra and Catuaí varieties. The coffee is shade-grown and naturally processed, with extended sun-drying. This results in a sweet, full-bodied cup where every berry fully expresses its character.
On the palate: ripe blackberry, caramelized apple, a touch of dark rum, and a hint of cocoa bitterness. The acidity is medium, the body is smooth and balanced, and the finish is long, warm, and slightly wine-like.
