Winner of the Yara Quality Competition in both 2017 and 2018, this coffee comes straight from the Monteblanco Farm, lovingly managed by Rodrigo Sanchez and his family. Rodrigo and his team hand-pick only the ripest, brightest red coffee cherries, which then get laid out on 14 raised beds for drying. During the first two days, the cherries are exposed to direct sunlight, then they’re moved into the shade for more balanced drying. Throughout this process, the beans are carefully turned every hour to ensure even drying, and covered during midday and overnight to avoid any moisture buildup. Once dried, the beans are packed into bags and stored at the farm's warehouse for about two and a half months to let them rest. Brewed as a filter coffee, you’ll taste vibrant notes of passionfruit, kumquat, and pineapple—perfect for those who love a bright and fruity cup.
